Why Choose Tenax Cera Fluida (Natural Stone Liquid Wax)

Deepens Color and Adds Sheen The one care product meant to change the look. Strongest on dark stone that has gone flat and gray.
Easy to Apply and Reverse Thin coats, buff to a sheen, and it wears off in time rather than committing the surface permanently.
Level With Hydrex at ₱3,500 The same Davao price as Hydrex and ₱1,100 under Proseal, though it wants redoing far more often.
Made for Natural Stone At its best on granite, marble and onyx, where it lifts the color and warms a tired-looking surface.

What Is Tenax Cera Fluida?

Liquid wax for color and sheen, and no kind of sealer.

Tenax Cera Fluida is a liquid wax made for natural stone by Tenax of Italy. It richens the color of a slab and lays down a soft sheen, which is usually the fix a Davao client is after when a counter reads flat.

Its logic is the reverse of a sealer. Proseal and Hydrex disappear into the pore structure and leave the face bare, where this one stays visible as a thin film. That film is the product.

Anything sitting on top eventually goes. Use, cleaning and daily traffic strip it back over a matter of months in a Davao kitchen, so buy it as a finish to be refreshed rather than as protection to be installed.

Deep colors that have lost their richness gain most, along with honed or aged faces where the tone has turned chalky. Against a slab polished last week there is very little for it to add.

How Much Does Tenax Cera Fluida Cost in Davao?

Davao rates, and they move without prior notice.

Item Starting Rates
Tenax Cera Fluida ₱3,500
Tenax Hydrex ₱3,500
Tenax Proseal ₱4,600

Cut-out charges apply only where installation is included. Delivery is priced by distance from the Davao branch.

Which Stones Can Take Cera Fluida?

Quarried stone takes it. Engineered quartz never does.

Dark granite benefits most

Deep color is where a wax pays. Absolute Black, Tan Brown and Paradiso Dark each come up richer under a coat, which puts back the depth that dry stone surrenders.

Marble and onyx, in the right places

Cladding and feature faces in either material take it happily, and both reach Davao on indent order. Seal with whatever the stone requires, allow the cure, and only then wax if more depth is wanted.

Never on engineered quartz

No flexibility here at all. A quartz face gives wax nowhere to travel, so it gathers and turns yellow with age. Nothing in the Davao quartz range, from the Sapphire designs through to the Calacattas, wants wax, and all of it suffers from wax.

Keep it off floors

Underfoot, a waxed surface goes slippery and thins out along the lines people walk, so the finish ends up blotchy. Vertical faces, counters and features are its territory, not a Davao floor.

How Do You Apply Tenax Cera Fluida?

Light coats, with a sealer already underneath.

1

Get the Sealer Down First

Nothing about wax is protective, so porous stone is sealed and cured before any of this begins. Wax over unsealed stone buys shine and nothing beneath it.

2

Keep the Coat Light and Even

A soft cloth and a sparing hand. Wax goes on too heavy very easily, and a thick pass dries streaky and costs more buffing than two light passes ever would.

3

Buff Until the Sheen Is Even

Wait for the haze, then work a clean dry cloth over it until the whole run reads the same. Stop while the cloth still glides, instead of grinding one area harder than its neighbors.

Cera Fluida sits among the stone care products the Davao branch keeps in stock, next to the sealers that belong underneath it.

Does Cera Fluida Change How the Stone Looks?

Yes, and altering the look is the whole job.

Yes. Nothing else on the Davao care shelf is designed to change appearance. Color goes deeper, a soft sheen arrives, and anyone who wanted neither should have picked up a sealer.

Porous stone in a dark color shows the change most clearly, and a bright polished slab already throwing back light shows it least. Black granite that has drifted toward gray and flat is where the difference jumps out.

Prove it on an offcut or somewhere out of sight first. Treated and untreated stone side by side is a stark comparison, so establish that you like the result before a whole Davao surface goes under the cloth.

Calling it reversible only means it wears away, and it does not retreat evenly if you have second thoughts partway. Commit to the full surface or leave it alone.

Does Waxing Replace Sealing?

No, and mistaking it for protection is the usual error.

No. The film is thin, it lives on the face, and normal use takes it off. Cooking oil still finds its way into porous granite through it, and spilt red wine still reaches the stone.

Different problems, different products. Proseal goes down inside the pores and stays there. Cera Fluida rests on top and flatters. Protection from one, appearance from the other.

Neither substitutes for the other, and stone that needs a sealer wants the pair in sequence: seal it, cure it, then wax if the depth appeals.

Wax stops no etching either. Acid slices through the film and takes the gloss off the marble or onyx below, precisely as it would on untreated stone in a Davao bathroom.

Cera Fluida vs Our Other Stone Care Products

Four bottles, and none of them overlap.

Cera Fluida is the finish

₱3,500 in Davao, bought to deepen color and add sheen on quarried stone. Cosmetic instead of protective, and gone within months instead of years.

Proseal is countertop protection

Tenax Proseal at ₱4,600 turns oil and water away from within the pores, which is the protection a kitchen counter really wants. It goes down first, ahead of any wax.

Hydrex is protection for walls and floors

Tenax Hydrex matches this bottle at ₱3,500 and turns water away, which suits cladding, flooring and anything outdoors where damp rather than oil does the damage.

Granite polish is the lighter route to shine

Stone Care Granite & Stone Polish at ₱1,700 lifts a polished face while you clean. Cheaper and gentler than a wax, and better aimed at keeping a Davao counter bright than at rescuing stone that has gone dull.

How Often Should You Reapply?

Once the depth goes, which will not take years.

1

Trust Your Eye, Not a Date

There is no water test for wax. When the color falls flat again and the sheen turns patchy, go again, and a working Davao counter often reaches that point inside a few months.

2

Clean It Right Down First

A new coat over a dirty face traps everything under it. Take the surface back with a pH-neutral stone cleaner and let it dry out completely.

3

Do Not Let It Build Up

Layer on layer with no cleaning between produces a thick, uneven, yellowing crust. Once a surface has clouded that way, ask the Davao branch how to strip it back to bare stone.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Cera Fluida a sealer?

No. A wax lives on the surface, deepening color and adding sheen, where a sealer travels into the pores and stays there. Wanting protection rather than appearance points you at Proseal or Hydrex.

Can I use it on engineered quartz?

No, without exception. Quartz is stain-resistant, so the wax has nowhere to travel, gathers on the face and yellows as it ages. A pH-balanced cleaner covers everything quartz asks for.

Do I need to seal before waxing?

On any stone that needs sealing, yes. Seal, allow the cure, then wax where extra depth appeals. Reverse that order and you have shine sitting over an unprotected slab.

Will it stop my marble from etching?

No. The film gives way to acid, which then dulls whatever is underneath. Nothing applied to marble or onyx stops etching, and keeping citrus and vinegar clear of the face is the only defense there is.

How long does it last?

Not years, and on a Davao surface in daily service considerably less. Wear from cleaning and traffic is how a wax behaves, not evidence that the bottle was a poor one.

Can I use it on a stone floor?

We would not. Wax makes stone slippery to walk on and thins where people cross, so the floor turns blotchy and has to be stripped and redone. Counters, cladding and features are the safe ground in a Davao home.

What happens if I put on too much?

Streaks and cloudiness, and repeated heavy layers turn yellow. Light passes, buffed out properly, avoid all of that. Where the cloud has already formed, the Davao branch can talk you through stripping it.

Where can you buy Tenax Cera Fluida in Davao?

Stone Depot. Tenax Cera Fluida is ₱3,500 at the Davao branch, and that rate is subject to change without prior notice. Stock moves about, so send a message ahead of the trip.

Not sure whether the surface wants wax or sealer? Say what the stone is and how it gets used. Davao hours run Monday to Saturday, 8 AM to 5 PM, and a visit or a message is welcome.
